Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 July 2026

These Terms govern your use of the FairFare.ie platform operated by FairFare Ireland Ltd. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

FairFare is a technology platform that connects riders in Ireland with licensed SPSV drivers. FairFare does not provide transport services and is not a taxi operator. Drivers are independent, licensed by the National Transport Authority.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. Drivers must hold a valid SPSV licence and appropriate insurance.

3. Fares and fees

Riders pay the fare directly to the driver by cash, Revolut or card on arrival. FairFare does not take a commission on fares. Drivers pay a flat monthly subscription (Standard €14.99, Premium €29.99).

4. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022 or the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your driver subscription at any time from your dashboard. Subscription fees for the current period are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform, misrepresent your identity, harass other users, or violate applicable law.

7. Liability

FairFare is not liable for the conduct of drivers or riders. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for use of the platform is limited to fees you have paid us in the preceding twelve months. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by Irish law.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
